BARC training
occurs as a group twice a month. However, handlers train several times a
week with each other. Whenever possible we train with other groups or individual
members from other groups. This ensures new training areas and new sources
are used as well as new ideas and techniques are shared. We also
attend seminars and workshops
 for
the same reasons plus to gain input from other experienced instructors,
constantly improving ourselves and our canines' skills.
We now certify with Country Class Canines
(CCC) as our primary outside evaluations organization as well as encourage
outside certifications from a variety of organizations.
