WARNING!!!! Do not risk ordering canine ice beds from Shefaro Borzoi and Boer Goats (owner Sherry Faye Rodarmor) in San Antonio Texas. I'm at least the second person to prepay for ice beds and not get them. I have in the past shown these ice beds to other SAR handlers as they are a good idea that works to keep dogs cool in the heat. Sherry Rodarmor formerly used PayPal but someone didn't get their ice bed order and PayPal refunded the money after investigating the dispute and ruling against her. Now she requires prepayment by check. I ordered 6 ice beds. Only two were sent. I had to send her bank images of the checks she cashed for the additional 4 beds. She had no record of my payment. Then she attempted to mail 3 of the 4 beds but mislabeled the package. It was "undeliverable as addressed" with no return address. So it has been sent to a national mail center as a 'dead letter'. The sender is to complete the missing package information but Sherry refuses to even do that. She also refuses now to send the 4th ice bed I've already paid for in advance. So I am out $374.40 (each bed is $93.60)! I've met with my local post office supervisor who showed me the internal tracking documents on the package. It was so mislabeled the local post office could not identify the intended recipient. It was sent to the state dead letter center to be processed but they also could not identify the recipient. Since Sherry did not place a return address on the package it could not be returned to her. The system data also shows the package was not damaged in any way so the issues were due to the sender's carelessness. This manager is trying to help me locate the package since the USPS 800 number says my case is closed because they advised the sender how to recovery the package (but Sherry refuses to do so). Earlier I had sent her images she requested of my dogs using the ice beds. She placed them on her website along with my initial email which she did not have permission to do. I have requested they be removed but she refuses to do that as well. Instead she posts two more 'emails' - which are actually fabricated text to appear as if it is an email tying to claim permission to post everything. She even goes so far as to post at the bottom two new disclaimers - one saying the buyer is responsible for issue resolving in transit (USPS says that is the sender's responsibility as they need package & shipping info to process the report). The other disclaimer says all emails & pictures sent to her are now her company's property and copyrighted as hers once posted and the sender has no rights to them. http://www.shefaro.com/icebeds/ As I am at least the second person to prepay for ice beds and not receive them, I strongly urge handlers to not put their own money at risk. Sherry Rodarmor does not not have good business practices and is careless with payments and sending goods. She also fabricates 'evidence' to support her unethical practices. I can only hope some respectable business begins making these ice beds so SAR handlers have somewhere to purchase the items without risking our money for goods that may not ever be delivered. I suggested to many others that they should purchase these beds and can only hope they receive what was ordered. I have filed a complaint with the BBB who have assigned it a case number and have contacted her for a response. Please inform your fellow SAR, LE, and show dog handlers that this business takes their money and may not provide the goods so they too do not fall victim to Sherry Rodarmor's careless business practices. The price is too high to take that risk!
