In October 2009, BARC instructors taught a seminar hosted by
Canfield K-9 Training in Keysville, VA. One of the highlights of the
seminar was the mock crime scene set up in an abandoned farm house. It
challenged the handlers and the dogs to work through distractions naturally
found in the house and to trust their dog even if they can't identify the source
of the odor.
